SHŌ ITO is an independent fragrance house. Each scent is composed by founder Sho Ito in collaboration with French and Japanese perfumers, and produced in strictly limited quantities.

Each fragrance is made in small batches. Rather than scale to fit demand, we keep production deliberately small and offer purchase access only to those we have invited personally. It is a slower way of working — but it is the only way that lets us hold the standard.

Join our list. When a release matches you, an invitation will arrive by email. We do not publish dates or count down to drops.

No. Each release is one-time. Once a batch is gone, it does not return. The next release is a new composition.

When you receive an invitation by email, it will include a private purchase link valid for that release. Purchases happen only through that link.

Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and selected local methods at checkout. All transactions are processed in EUR.

Within the European Union, prices include VAT. For destinations outside the EU, prices are exclusive of customs duties and import taxes, which are paid by the recipient on delivery.

All orders are dispatched from our warehouse in Łomianki, Poland.

Orders are typically packed and dispatched within 2–5 business days. Delivery times after dispatch range from 1–2 business days within Poland to 5–10 business days for Japan and Australia.

Yes. A tracking number is sent by email at dispatch.

If you are an EU consumer, you have 14 days to withdraw from your purchase. For hygiene reasons, fragrances cannot be returned once their factory seal is broken. Unopened items in original packaging may be returned.

Photograph the packaging and contents, and email us at info@shoitotokyo.com within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund.

Each composition uses a high proportion of natural raw materials — from oud and sakura to rare florals and absolutes — alongside selected synthetic molecules where they serve the scent. Allergen disclosures will be added once the laboratory safety panels are complete.

No. SHŌ ITO does not test on animals, and our suppliers comply with EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, which prohibits animal testing for cosmetic products and ingredients within the EU market.

Keep it upright, away from direct sunlight and heat, ideally below 25°C. Stored well, a fragrance keeps its character for years.

It depends on how you wear it. With two to three sprays per day, a 50ml bottle typically lasts six to nine months. Heavier wear, or sharing across a household, will shorten that.

You only need to be on our list. An account is created automatically the first time you redeem an invitation, so your order history is preserved for future releases.
